Murder, My Sweet began in late 2004 as the product of an unlikely writing collaboration between Mark Younger-Smith and the beat poet Joseph King. After discussing similar interests in film noir, tribal rhythms and their use in modern music, Younger-Smith began writing songs to these ideas ultimately leading to the creation of a very unique and timely sound - haunting, cinematic electro-rock that is simultaneously, elegant and carnal, sensual and assaulting. Celebrate their live video shoot at Stubb's along with Mock Tigers and Ultraviolet Index.

Little Joy w/ Dead Trees, True Widow

Little Joy is new collaboration between Brazilian singer-guitarist Rodrigo Amarante of Los Hermanos, drummer Fabrizio Moretti of The Strokes, and Los Angeles-based musician Binki Shapiro. When these three friends got together for a jam session they ended up with an easily accessible pop album that mixes a carefree attitude with south-of-the-border influences and elements of Beach Boys-esque 60's pop. Up-and-comers Dead Trees and True Widow open the joyous show at The Parish on Saturday.

In just a few short years they have already opened for Snoop Dogg, landed a spot on the Warped Tour, and released a major-label record. Emo's will be jumpin' on Wednesday when they come through town with InnerPartySystem, Chain Gang of 1974, and The Pirate Signal.

Hollywood Undead is a six-piece rapcore band of from California who became an instant sensation in 2005 after uploading one of their songs to MySpace. In no time it reached a million plays, and by 2006 they were leading MySpace’s top unsigned artists list with more than 8 million plays. released their debut album in September of 2008, filled with tales of promiscuous sex, violence, and partying it up like the world's about to end.
