LUCASCOOKUS is not just a name, it's a way of life. It describes a unique style of music influenced by life, not genres. By the end of this bio I am confident you will have a taste of what LUCASCOOKUS means. Born in Kansas City, MO on September 11th, 1979 "A day that will live in infamy." Lucas began entertaining crowds at an early age. From dancing to "Billie Jean" on preschool lunch tables to comedy routines at family functions, Lucas loves the attention. "In August of 2005 I made a few arrangents, and I packed up all my things. I headed down the highway from Kansas City. Straight down I-35 to Austin, Texas." LUCASCOOKUS plays a progressive rock with blues, funk, soul and latin influences. In recent months major events have lead to putting Lucas right on the verge of something great. With the formation of a FULL band, talk of touring has already begun. "All this time i've been spreading gasoline over a field of dried up prairie, and before 2007 see's it end, I will light a match that's gunna set your soul on fire!" Check often for new music and additional tour dates. Be sure to watch for Smart Foods Healthy Kids cooking series, available summer 2007. Lucas wrote, arranged and produced the the theme song.
