We’re two music lovers in East Austin, Texas covering all that is loud and exciting happening musically in the bars of Red River, house parties, garages, and dives in Central Texas. We focus on folk, noise pop, experimental, lo-fi, garage rock, surf rock, and are constantly sorting through show fliers to find the next band to catch our ears. We’re not reviewing every big event and we’re not writing about the albums that make ‘Top 10 of the Year’ lists. Instead, we care about DYI events, self-released material, small record labels, people who throw their own great shows, and bands who play because they want to create new sounds.
