ThoroughBread

1709 Bluebonnet Ln

Their menu may not be as extensive as other bakeries, but that's probably because they only serve what they do exceptionally well. Baking some of the city's best sourdough loaves, white bread, mountainous cookies, and their signature Burridoughs. Which takes the classic burrito and gives it a bready outside stuffed with brisket, egg or avocado. Take a look at what their offering and place an order here

The next time you’re taking a casual eavesdropping stroll down your street, listen for the phrase, “...man, I’d kill for some baked goods right about now.” Upon hearing that line, your next step is to gently interrupt & give them the word about Zucchini Kill Bakery. This vegan, gluten/soy-free bakery has got the damn goods folks. We’re talkin’ cookies, cupcakes, bread, and doughnuts - all deliciously made fresh each day. Plaza Colombian Coffee (temporarily closed)

3842 S Congress Ave

Plaza Colombian Coffee has become our favorite stop for Colombian baked goods and it’s bound to be on your list, too, trust us. Let us talk dessert options for a second. We’ll begin with bocaditos - a flaky puff pastry toasted in cinnamon coffee sugar with a dulce de leche dipping sauce. I mean, cmon’. Looking for seconds after that one? We wouldn’t blame ya. Other favorites would have to be their pandebono (a cheese bread made with tapioca) and roscon (sweet bread filled with guava). This South American cafe and bakery allows for patio dining or get these sweet treats to-go through their drive-thru service. Deliciousness is just around the corner, folks.
