311 (pronounced three eleven) is a band that formed in 1990 in Omaha, Nebraska as a rapcore/punk rock/reggae group. 311's influences include Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Clash, Fishbone, Reverend Horton Heat, Living Colour, the Beastie Boys, and REM.
