Austin Nights Brass Band is a brand new band on the Austin Scene. Big Chief Kevin's birthday throwdown on December 6th 2007 was the perfect excuse to throw a brass band together, and now the funk continues into the new year, Mardi Gras, and beyond. This band features the talents of some of Austin's finest -- Jimmie Dreams doubling up as guitarist and cat herder, Ricky Caesar on drums, Oliver Steck and Mike Elam on trumpet, Ponder East on tenor sax, Ari Dvorin on bari sax, Geno Gottschall on tuba, and special guests include Stan Smith and John Doyle on clarinet.
