The Biscuit Brothers -- Buford and Dusty Biscuit, also occasionally known as Allen Robertson and Jerome Schoolar, respectively -- have been entertaining Austin-are kids and parents since 2000. Their mission: to bring the extensive and well-documented benefits of music education to children ages 2-7 in an imaginative, interactive and fun-filled way. Robertson and Schoolar are both accomplished musicians, writers and entertainers who technically don't need silly farm clothes, goofy sing-a-longs and animal puppets to win over an audience, but why skimp on the fun? Both live on their own locally produced TV show on Austin's KLRU, the Biscuit Brothers' barnyard jamboree-style performances are a guaranteed hoot and hit with children of all ages. Just be careful...you might learn something.
