Though it seems trivial, there’s some merit to choosing a good band name. With myriad acts cluttering cyberspace, who’s going to check out a group based on the name "Fire" or "Spleen"? So even if members of Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, or SSLYBY, aren’t the biggest fans of their eye-catching name, there’s no doubt it has lured many listeners."Honestly, we’re tired of our name. Today, there are a lot of indie bands with long names, and it just feels like we’re a part of that scene," SSLYBY co-singer-songwriter Philip Dickey said. "We get people who listen to us because of the name, but there are also people who hate us simply because of it."
