Dance Gavin Dance is a band from Sacramento, California. We were formed out of the dissolution of several other bands including Farewell Unknown and now, Five Minute Ride. We have released (3) albums since birth and the (4th?) is in close sight. Our new full length album that bears no title went public as of 8.19 Listen at Last.fm

Dance Gavin Dance
Funny song titles, Christina Aguilera gone hardcore, dinosaurs and robots, and the most hooking guitars ever. Regardless of whether or not they did really invent Times New Roman, this is one of the most enticing releases ever released by Rise Records and probably the only band that could get away with writing lyrics such as "Brontosaurus tracks, relax" and singing songs about exploding. For such a relatively young band, Dance Gavin Dance has had some seismic lineup changes. Since releasing its first EP, Whatever I Say Is Royal Ocean, in 2006, the Sacramento outfit has shed members like dead skin. more at austin.decider.com
