This is four different pieces, from four different puzzles, placed together to fit into something entirely new and unique. Cameron, Mike, Ky and Rocky are all from different parts of Texas, yet they were able to meet and start what is now Exeter. Exeter consists of four musicians with diverse backgrounds. The result is something more than the sum of its parts. Cameron (guitar) and Mike (guitar, vox) met a few years back and started to write new material together a year ago. After meeting countless other musicians, they fell upon Ky (drums), who actually had heard of some of their favorite bands like Failure, HUM and Shiner. Cameron, Mike and Ky met Rocky (bass) a few months later, and they knew he was a perfect fit. Mike began to sing during practice while the band was looking for a frontman/vocalist. This ultimately led to dodging the frontman/vocalist idea all together after playing a couple shows and having a good response from the crowd. For everyone involved, Exeter is a perfect drug. They found a pure, natural stimulant with no side effects. Music can explain things better than words on a computer screen. Listen to the demos and see a live show.
