“Parking Lot Nights” is more than a song title for Denton’s digitally inclined Ghosthustler; up until a few months ago, the trio had never played a live show. We can thank blogdom for the aggressive lathering they’ve received recently read more..
Denton’s skuzzy synth-bangers Ghosthustler were already Next Big Things by the time they’d played their first show, with the funked-up glam grenade “Parking Lot Nights” splattered across every taste-making blog of note seemingly within minutes of being posted to its MySpace page. The band has a similarly sleazy, Daft-Punk-is-playing-at-your-house vibe as that other local electro band with “Ghost” in its name, which means you should probably catch tiny club gigs like this one (part of The Mohawk’s monthly residency program) while you still can.
