Ha Ha Tonka, formerly known as Amsterband, is made up of Brian Roberts (lead guitar, vocals), Lucas Long (bass and vocals), Brett Anderson (Keyboard, guitar, vocals), and Lennon Bone (drums and vocals). These boys are straight out of Springfield, Missouri and bring something new to the local music scene. While opening for more rock-centered bands such as St.Louis’s own Ludo, these boys spit out catchy folk ballads. With upbeat, catchy, folk songs such as Caney Mountain and St.Nick on the Fourth in a Fervor (from album Buckle in The Bible Belt), these kids rock out and have a great time doing it. The music industry should be expecting big things to come from this unique band. On May 13th, 2007 their name officially changed to Ha Ha Tonka. Listen at Last.fm
