Rock / Pop / Alternative Washington DC-based rock band, Honor By August has shared the stage (in non-festival format) with artists including Bon Jovi, Hootie & the Blowfish, Howie Day, Hanson, Ingram Hill, Pat McGee Band, Emerson Hart (Tonic), Keith Kane (Vertical Horizon), Virginia Coalition, Emmet Swimming, Aslyn, Michael Tolcher, State Radio, Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers, Washington Social Club and the Alternate Routes. Honor By August has played to crowds as large as 20,000 in venues including the Verizon Center (DC), McDonough Arena (DC), Cain’s Ballroom (OK), the 9:30 Club (DC), the State Theater (VA), FedEx Field (DC) Canal Club (VA) and the Middle East main stage (MA). Led by 23-year-old Michael Pearsall Honor By August is a band based on personal, powerful songs and dynamic live performances and has a proven track record with both venues and fans. Award-winning songwriting, a one-of-a-kind voice, and strong musicianship are a few of the reasons why Honor By August is a world-class band in the making.
