“Pop music is a
platform to say something. You don’t have to only talk about parties.” If New York-via-Bay
Area noise artist Amanda Warner had to boil down the thinking behind MNDR- her
synth-pop project with producer Peter Wade- that might be the her mantra. Feed
Me Diamonds is the result of Warner and Wade’s tireless efforts to
translate raw emotions into music that grooves without excess glitter. The pair
first teamed up in 2008 after discovering a mutual love of gear, sci-fi, and
cults. Come drink the kool-aid and witness shades of pop you never knew existed.

mySpoonful on MNDR
almost 2 years agoAmanda Warner, a.ka. MNDR sings songs that are so catchy, you’ ll never know you’ re listening to the byproduct of a woman so obsessed with the mechanics of experimental club music, that she has been known to attribute human characteristics her sizable collection of synthesizers. It’ s deep stuff coming from a singer whose brand of emotive electro allows listeners to forego any heavy mental lifting as you find yourself dancing to the easy rhythm of her sweet and squeaky voice bouncing off producer, Peter Wade’s tech-infused beats. more at myspoonful.com
