We play songs we write and songs we like. It doesn't get much easier than that, friends, but then again it is a myth that anything worthwhile is difficult. Sometimes the sound you want is just as easy as falling down. Danny plays a grey Tele knockoff and used to be in San Antonio stalwarts the Sons of Hercules. He turns up on occasion in the odd Love tribute band or playing bass for Beaumont blues legend Richard Earl. Billysteve has spent the last several years strangling various Telecasters for local FreeBlues purveyors The Crack Pipes. In the Victims, he sings and leaves most of the shredding to Danny. Brandon plays a Fender bass. He's spent some time on the road with the Boss Martians, worked on sound for locally produced Kung Fu movies, and is also a stellar engineer capable of spinning 4-track straw into gold. Walter chews on all manner of tin and reed until nothing's left but pure, howling sound. He's the real thing, kids. Trey was our original drummer, laying down a rock solid beat during the first couple of shows before lighting out for parts unknown. He's welcome to sit in anytime. "Turgid" Tim played with Billysteve in both Daddy's Drunk and Barleypop, making him a natural for the Victims of Leisure. He can also be seen laying it down for those notorious enemies of community theatre, the Bad Rackets. We've recently done some living room recording that will undoubtedly surface soon as a self released ep, unless someone out there in myspaceland needs to lose some cash fast. If so, come on out and see us. There probably won't be a cover, and even if there is, I'm sure you're on the list.
