Recorded in the Live Music Capital of the World during the Summer and Fall of 2007, comes Whitman's debut "Torch Songs”, a record embodied by Whitman's unique approach and fiercely independent spirit. After the deserved success from their debut LP, Whitman is currently working on a follow up to build upon the sounds of their debut material. 106096 Fireside Creative Acoustic Showcase On December 5th, six bands from very different facets of the Austin music scene will perform on the same stage for an audience of equally eclectic musical taste.  The format of the show is labeled “acoustic” although there is likely to be a few electric instruments mixed in.  Each of these unique bands will have prepared a stripped down version of their normal set, providing audience members an intimate glimpse at their original rock material.
