Four humans shooting for eighth-circuit neurologic activation, You Make Engine is pleased to make your acquaintance. Our songs run from light-hearted pop to hard-edged dance rock to punk explosions. Onstage, we're one of those old-fashioned bands that jumps around and yells a lot. We formed in early 2006, Jaime and Kaleb having previously played together in the Talking Heads-esque Commune Y Que? Kaleb and Hannah have hosted Karaoke Underground shows since 2004, and got to know Brian through his constant hounding to add more songs by Shellac, Mountain Goats and Gang Of Four.As of this writing, our demos are the only recordings we have, but we plan on recording and releasing a 7" and EP by Spring 2007.
