Coffinworm is an Indanapolis-based sludge/black metal band. The band is staffed by members of bands such as Black Arrows of Filth & Impurity, The Dream Is Dead, Angelville, and Racebannon. Having an oppressive live perfomance, they have gained a popularity in the local Indianapolis metal scene. "Great Bringer Of Night" came out in 2009, and showcased the band’s crushing brand of blackened doom and sludge metal.
