7 months agoIt's easy to be lulled into a false sense of security listening to the almost-all-instrumental music of Delicate Steve , the weird and wonderful quintet fronted (if there is such a thing here) by bedroom maestro Steve Marion. The New Jersey quintet plucks familiar tones from classic folk, pop and rock and weaves them together with formidable compositional grace. The results are sometimes ambient, sometimes arresting, and always capable, it seems, of sucking your headphones straight into your ears.
