7 months agoSan Diego duo TV Girl are releasing their debut LP, whose lead single, "I Wonder Who She's Kissing Now" is a piece of throwback pop custom-made for the beautiful weather we've been getting here in Los Angeles lately. Straightforward lyrics are accompanied by light horns and strings that recall a simpler time when summer days melted into one another as we sat on stoop fronts eating Creamsicles after playing baseball with the gang. Okay, that may be part-reality and part- Sandlot, but it fits right in with a time when boomboxes on sidewalks played songs that never exceeded more here
