Dawn Over Zero

Go ahead and put away those convenient little boxes that everyone likes to stuff bands into. Equal parts heavy riffs and joyous sing-along melodies, Dawn Over Zero has stepped up to the razorwire protecting the precious indie rock scene from the fist pumping metalheads on one side and the glimmersheen loving popsters on the other… and ripped it to shreds.

Formed in Austin Texas, Dawn Over Zero’s music can be found on radio stations and internet broadcasts across the US and in regions as far flung as Poland, Germany, and Sweden.

From the pages of Metal Edge Magazine to the Ernie Ball Stage at Warped tour, the band has accomplished much in their emergent existence. Their dedication to relentless touring coupled with the un-ending support of their following has allowed the band to experience true “Independent” success!

The name “Dawn Over Zero” is an homage to “New Beginnings”, and in staying true to the name… Dawn Over Zero is a constantly evolving living thing. The band recently started working with producer Matt Noveskey of Blue October fame and claimed the Grand Prize as winner of the Rock category for the John Lennon International Song Writing Competition with their song “Catapult”. DOZ will be releasing new music in 2010’… Stay Tuned.
