"Led by an equally charismatic and possessed singer guitarist, this group has drawn comparisons to the dead 70’s rock icons, while still breaking out into new experimental pop, psychedelic and Americana territories." Influenced by listed artists as diverse as T-Rex to Nick Cave this band has a mixed bag. "…the Beauvilles have shared stages with: Jason Isbell / Drive By Truckers, the Black Angels, the Warlocks, the Porcupine Tree, John Langford (Mekons / Waco Bros.), Okkervil River, the Diamond Nights, the Electric Six, Jon Doe (of X), Castanets, Alejandro Escovedo, the Whigs, Dead Confederate, Centro-Matic, Th’ Legendary Shack Shakers…" According to various media sources the band has a new record coming out in September 08’ entitled "Whispering Sin" Listen at Last.fm

over 6 years agoI saw them in boston @ the Nemo show at the Middle east, they were badass and out of their minds. Not sure if they sound like the "Who" though... more like a cross between BRMC and the Cold War Kids but more rock ... They had an upright bass player who was waving the bass in the air like it weighed nothing. Are they from San Fransico?
