Welcome to the archives of The Shiner Sessions in the Do512 Lounge, a series of intimate in-studio performances by national artists in the Do512 Lounge, a private lounge in South Austin. 

The purpose of the Do512 Lounge is promote and archive bands that we love, and to share their music with as many people as possible.  And we have a damn good time doing it.  It's pretty simple. We invite bands down to play, serve a lot of cold shiner beers, make high quality HD videos, and put them on the internet for the world to see. 

The Shiner Sessions was launched on January 30, 2011, with a performance by The Black Angels.  Since then, over 140 great bands have played in the Lounge, and this is just the beginning.  Some highlights include Gary Clark Jr, Portugal. The Man, The Bright Light Social Hour, Delta Spirit, Heartless Bastards, Fitz & the Tantrums, Dawes, Hot Water Music, Nada Surf, White Denim, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, The Dandy Warhols, and Deer Tick.

The Shiner Sessions are made possible by the support of Shiner Beers, who is not only the best beer in the world, but they really believe in supporting and promoting bands and musicians. 

These are private events and are not open to the public for capacity reasons.
