Electronic Arts is legendary in the video game industry. This giant of interactive entertainment has been around since 1982, when they pioneered many early home computer games. More recently, Electronic Arts has stayed busy producing wildly popular games such as The Sims and Rock Band. Austin is the happy home to two subsidiary studios of Electronic Arts: BioWare and Pogo. We pride ourselves as being on the forefront of high tech industries here in Austin, and gaming is no exception. Electronic Arts has hosted a variety of cool local events such as book signings and other unique presentations, particularly during SXSWi.
