An extremely limited number of $50 tickets are available for a private, catered lunch with James Duval earlier in the day at 1:00pm, at the home of Alamo Drafthouse founders, Tim and Karrie League and catered by Alamo executive chef John Bullington.
Cult actor James Duval first came to public attention via the films of Gregg Araki (TOTALLY FUCKED UP, THE DOOM GENERATION, NOWHERE), and despite the occasional venture into mainstream territory with films like INDEPENDENCE DAY and GONE IN 60 SECONDS, he has predominantly remained true to his indie roots, making notable appearances in MAY, John Moritsugu's MOD FUCK EXPLOSION and SCUMROCK, GO, MAD COWGIRL and more. But even with much larger roles to his credit, his most substantial cult following comes courtesy of the 2001 sleeper hit DONNIE DARKO, where he played the enigmatic and tragic character of Frank - and has now been immortalized as an action figure!
As an added bonus, Makeup FX artist Thom Surprenant, who did James' makeup in DONNIE DARKO, will appear briefly to intro the film with James!
