Like any other six year old, Flicker wanted a pony for its birthday. But since we were fresh out of ponies, we decided to throw it a birthday party. Filled with cake, balloons, party hats, presents, and the odd game of pin the tail on the filmmaker, the HBMG Foundation invites you to celebrate six years of laughs, tears, and celluloid. In addition to the usual fare of original and creative short films, we'll share filmmaker's vintage birthday party footage from days of yore.

Flicker is a bi-monthly film festival in Austin, TX that features short films by area filmmakers and all other enthusiasts who dare submit via mail! Submissions are free, screenings are always only $6.
Flicker submissions must: Originate on film (Super 8, 16mm, and films transferred to VHS/DVD) & be under 15 minutes in length.
