Ruthie Foster moved to Austin from College Station nearly a decade ago and has since set the local scene ablaze. Her most recent album (produced by Papa Mali) finally encapsulates her greatness as an artist. 

Thursday will be the CD release party at Antone's. Harmonica virtuoso Dale Spalding (who guested on the album) will augment Foster's band.
