Rape is bad. But being raped by a chemically mutated fishman is really, really bad. Case in point: HUMANOIDS FROM THE DEEP, the boombastic-est aquatic monster movie of the last three decades! The nubile teens of a formerly quiet seaside community are systematically slaughtered and/or impregnated by a legion of toxically metamorphosed sea creatures. Also included is monster-mashing Native American Jimmy Eagle, a ripping performance from a Shakey's Pizza Parlor band, a wacked-out Salmon Festival DJ named Madman and a girl who gets severely turned on by a ventriloquist dummy. Director Peeters asserts that producer Roger Corman went in later and added all the nudity and gore without her knowledge.
