It�s still hard to believe Bill Hicks is dead. He would have been 45 this past December had he lived. Like very few comics, his work has a universality that also make it timeless. There�s a shock of recognition in his best routines - not only are we hearing something we recognize as the truth but we�re angry; both at the things Bill is angry at, and then at ourselves for not being as angry as Bill is about it. There�s a lot of deep humanity and compassion in Bill�s rage. But none of that would make much difference if he hadn�t been so funny. This year we�re proud to present a program of Bill Hicks rarities from the vaults of his close friends and associates. You�ll see live clips, TV appearances, Bill�s BBC Pilot, COUNTS OF THE NETHERWORLDS and interviews about Bill with the people who knew him best.
