As part of the Harry Ransom Center’s American ’20s Music Series, Steve James, Cindy Cashdollar and Mark Rubin open with a set of pickin' blues on Tuesday, February 27, at 7 p.m. at Antone’s, located at 213 W. 5th Street. They will be followed by legendary piano player Pinetop Perkins and the Blue Tuesdays Band play original honky tonkin' blues, and growling Scott H. Biram closes the night. The music series is presented in conjunction with the Ransom Center’s current exhibition, The American Twenties. More details can be found at www.hrc.utexas.edu/music.
