John Prine is one of the greatest songwriters of the past half-century. Although he is regarded with reverence among other musicians, he is still a relatively underrated artist. Like his fellow John Mr. Hiatt, Prine wrote a great song that Bonnie Raitt covered and made a killing with. He's built quite the cult following over the past few decades, and those who know come out in droves when he plays the Capital City.
