Do512 and Direct Events have joined forces support the Groundwork Music Project, a Austin-based non-profit devoted to providing free music lessons to Austin pre-schoolers who could not otherwise afford them.  Great live music, drink specials, free munchies from Wahoo's, and a raffle to win great prizes like tickets to upcoming Backyard and La Zona Rosa shows, free restaurant gift certificates and more. 

Groundwork’s Mission and Purpose: The purpose of the Groundwork Music Project is simple: to provide music education to young children who could not otherwise afford it. Preschool years are critical to the development of musical skills, and musical skills are critical to our development as human beings. Exposing young children to a rich musical environment nourishes a natural process of learning to carry a tune and keep a beat.
