Look at that painting. I don't like art, but that's just beautiful. It's the type of VHS box cover that widened the eyes and sparked the imaginations of horror-curious 10-year-olds across 1980s America. When we grew up, these forbidden titles had disappeared from shelves before we could rent them, relinquished forever to storage rooms and (choke!) dumpsters. Thus, movies like DARK AUGUST went forgotten...but no more! Gird your loins for an atmospheric creeper with a hearty injection of demonic possession. When a city slicker runs over a backwoods sorcerer's granddaughter, witches and shotguns may not be enough to save the urbanite from supernatural payback. And great big pins.
