The South Congress store, which brought in cutting-edge clothes from all points of the globe and played host to many a celeb-filled after-party, is shutting its doors for good now that owners Le and Thomas Popov have decided to concentrate on their online presence (and raising their family), so the next time LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy wants to play a secret late-night DJ set, he’ll have to do it at Beauty Bar instead of in FP’s sleek, industrial main room. Appropriately enough, Beauty Bar is hosting this send-off in a symbolic passing of the torch, featuring fashionable DJs Lazaro Casanova, Ian Orth, and Flash Bastard.
