Newman, Redford and Hill struck box office gold again (and a Best Picture Oscar, to boot) with this entertaining tale of two Chicago con-men trying to put "the sting" on an NYC high-roller. Great period atmosphere; the extensive use of Scott Joplin's ragtime songs sparked a major revival of interest in his music. Excellent supporting performance by Shaw.
