On October 26th, the Friday before Halloween, Bleu French Laundry Productions descends five exciting acts upon Ruta Maya HQ in South Austin for a raging Halloween Ball. Under the October full moon, the age old ritual of rocknroll will be played out by the MURDOCKS, ACID TOMB (13TH FLOOR ELEVATORS tribute band featuring THE ALICE ROSE & Michael Molnar of THE JUNGLE ROCKERS), GOLDEN BEAR, NATHAN SINGLETON & HIS SIDESHOW TRAGEDY, very special guest band THE FEARLESS VAMPIRE KILLERS, & PSYCHOTROPIC's DJs SCORPIO & WHIPLASH spinning hot tracks between sets. The centerpiece of the party is ACID TOMB. This 13TH FLOOR ELEVATORS tribute band will motor thru an hour's worth of their feverish catalogue of psychedelic rocknroll during this season of Halloween in full spirit of Roky Erickson's tradition of emerging for Halloween performances. As the doors open at 8pm, PSYCHOTROPIC DJs SCORPIO & WHIPLASH will be grinding out gritty '60s rock ravers. 8:30pm GOLDEN BEAR fires up, 9:30pm very special guest band THE FEARLESS VAMPIRE KILLERS surprises us all, 10:30pm ACID TOMB summons the demons, 11:45pm MURDOCKS beckons good vibrations, & 12:45am NATHAN SINGLETON & HIS SIDESHOW TRAGEDY howls at the full moon. Only $8, $6 in costume, $5 students, rocker parents with children can get kids under 9 in FREE. This Halloween Ball Full Moon Party will be a knock out, so dress your spookiest, bring 3 friends, & come haunt Ruta with us.
