Detective Jarrett Crippen, a 15 year veteran of the Austin Police Department is this year’s winner of the Scifi Channel’s hit reality TV show; “Stan Lee’s Who Wants to be a Superhero?”. As his superhero alter ego; The Defuser, he plans to start his battle against evil by fighting one of the greatest evils of our time; Breast Cancer.
The location for this historic battle will be his annual charity haunted house;
Scare for a CURE.
Located at the Austin Elks Lodge; 700 Dawson rd.
Oct 26th & 27th 7pm till Midnight
Oct 28th – 31st 6pm till 11pm
Tickets: $15 adults, $5 for age 12 and under
Recently The Defuser was challenged by Austin’s own Super-villain; Lord Vile; if The Defuser has more customers at his haunted house than Lord Vile has at his own haunted house; Shadow Vault, then Lord Vile will donate 1⁄2 of his proceeds to the fight against breast cancer. However, if Lord Vile wins, he will give that same 1⁄2 to NORML, to help in their fight to legalize marijuana use.
The Defuser of course accepted the challenge.
Working closely with the Austin Breast Cancer Resource Center and his team of heroic volunteers, he hopes defeat Lord Vile and raise money to help wipe out Breast Cancer.
