La Putain Avec Les Fleurs, billed as a "Junk Melodrama", is set in 1940's France. A troupe of vagabond performers, known as "Theatre Des Funambules," along with their live acoustic avant-garde band, Bric-a-Brac, present the story of Baptiste, the world's greatest clown, and his journey to become a real man. An explosion of song, dance, pantomime, clowning, puppetry, and a Big French Bear, La Putain truly has something for everyone!

We were thrilled to have Nick Groesch, keyboardist for The Polyphonic Spree, attend our performance Wednesday night. Nick loved La Putain, and invited us to see his performance with the Spree at Emo’s on 6th Street later that evening.
about 1 year ago.Needless to say, Polyphonic Spree is an amazing live performance, but we were stunned when during their encore, Nick took a piano solo and started riffing off of one of OUR SONGS! As if that weren’t honor enough, after Nick’s solo, Tim, the lead singer and band leader, said “La Putain avec les Fleurs. This is what’s going on in your town right now. Nick saw it this evening and was truly moved.”
