This month’s Ready Steady Go retro dance party is taking a one-off departure from it’s residency at Beerland for a very special collaborative event to take place at Rio Rita (1308 East 6th Street). Host DJs Mike Hooker and Shorty Stump will be joined on Friday, December 7th by special Guest DJs Panda Flower and Tiger Bee from Dallas’s grooviest DJ troupe, The Lollipop Shoppe. Also on hand to offer a fresh spin to the retro-themed dance party will be DJ guru Scotty Upton (traveling all the way to Austin from South Florida).

No doubt the musical offerings of five unique DJs will conjure up a mixture of danceable favorites consisting of a barrage of genres from the depths of these DJ’s collections.

Other features of this exciting happening include the lovely Ready Steady Go-Go Girls dancing all night long. And as usual, a large screen will project vintage films for your viewing pleasure.
