Following the tremendous success of the SXSW and CMJ events in 2006 & 2007. The Viper Room will once again highlight up-and-coming and national bands by transporting the world famous Sunset Strip experience to Austin, Texas for the SXSW 2008 music festival. The Viper Room has gained more than a notable reputation for developing and leading the nation's music scene. Booking both national and international success stories since its doors opened in 1993, The Viper Room has become a renowned rock club leader. This year's events will feature some of the club's most prominent acts; guaranteed to pack the house with the sexiest, as well as the most gregarious crowd SXSW has to offer.
