Lipstick Pages Launch Party + Fashion Show by Blue Velvet and ThunderPuppet, w/ Live Music by Darling New Neighbors, SNAFU Kitt

Lipstick Pages, the online magazine celebrating creative feminism since 2003, is throwing the hottest fashion party happening this spring.  The creative feminist zine Lipstick Pages teams up with Austin sellers of vintage clothing and accessories Blue Velvet and designer ThunderPuppet for "The Body Eclectic" issue to present diverse, eclectic fashions on diverse, eclectic bodies.  The evening of fashion at the Beauty Bar will include an art exhibit, film screening, comedy/dance, and of course, live music!  DJ Saturday will be spinning empowering music throughout, with the piano driven lounge pop of SNAFU Kitties following the fashion show, and indie folk 'n' rock locals Darling New Neighbors frosting the cake.  Performance artist and HUG dancer Janine de Luna-Azul is Mistress of Ceremonies.

The webzine party is open to the public, with a suggested donation of $5, which will be dedicated to entertainment and the quarterly publication launch in December 2008.
