The Montreal-based Wolf Parade are one of the front runners in the ever expanding world of indie rock, establishing themselves as legitimate contenders for the top spot after their debut album "Apologies to the Queen Mary" received near universal acclaim in 2005. Wolf Parade is currently on tour in support of their sophomore effort "At Mount Zoomer", which Rolling Stone called "synth-powered rock that's both primal and chaotic." The members of Wolf Parade are associated with Hot Hot Heat, Handsome Furs, Arcade Fire and Sunset Rubdown, making them one of the few "super groups" of indie rock. Fellow (award winning) Canadian band Wintersleep opens.
