Shady Grove is running an outdoor, all-ages music series each Thursday at 8 pm through September 25th. Since its inception, "Unplugged At the Grove” has become one of Austin’s most eagerly anticipated annual musical traditions, having presented some of Texas’ and the country’s most acclaimed musicians. This week they will host the high-energy White Ghost Shivers, who flesh out equal parts punk rock, cabaret, country, jazz, swing and vaudeville. To top it off, they will be accompanied by the fully formed psychedelic sounds of Future Clouds & Radar.
Shady Grove (1624 Barton Springs Rd) is the home of great outdoor dining, nestled under the shade of a tall pecan grove, just minutes from downtown, modeled after State parks from the 1940s, and specializing in Texas cuisine. Join us every Thursday night, for a free show starting at *8pm! Enjoy great food and beverages ($2.00 Zeigenbocks and $3.00 pints of Bud Light). Get there early for a good parking spot - put a KGSR sticker on your car for KGSR CD Singles.
