There seem to be a lot of descriptors surrounding the local band Coma In Algiers. If you combined them all, you would end up with a form of primal, agitated gothic punk that is broodingly dark with a youthful angst that will pop you right in the kisser. Get a healthy dose of irreverence when they perform at Scoot Inn with the three-piece no-wave blues of Boxcar Satan, and the two-piece guitar and drums psychedelic thrash of Magic Jewels.
