Ben Kweller has been a celebrated Texas musician since before he could even vote, and developing impressive range in the process. He's done 60s styles of garage rock, bubblegum pop, indie rock, a little punk, and has recently jumped into the bluegrass/country game. His upcoming record Changing Horses is all old-school pedal steel country & western, produced by Gill Norton (Pixies, Counting Crows) at Spoon drummer Jim Eno’s studio in Austin. Expect to hear plenty of this new material at Antone's on Sunday.
