Way Down in New Orleans

Super! Alright! Creative Studio is please to announce the exhibition, Way Down in New Orleans, from December 6th until January 10th. This travelling exhibition opened in the nation's capital of Washington DC on the third anniversary of Katrina, and it has now come to the capital city of Texas. Way Down in New Orleans unites an array of New Orleans-based artists with artists nationwide, five artists hailing from Austin; both groups affected and shaped by the storm, and it's aftermath. The exhibition is curated by (former Austinite) New York based artist and curator Aubrey Edwards. An opening reception is scheduled for Saturday, December 6, 2008, from 7-10 pm. Twenty percent of art sales benefits the New Orleans Kid Camera Project, www.kidcameraproject.org.
