Founded in 1999 by Jonathan Meiburg and Will Sheff of Okkervil River, Shearwater have produced multiple albums filled with a unique cinematic folk approach, including 2006's critically acclaimed Palo Santo, and the Matador Records follow-up Rook. Martin Crane's promising indie rock band Brazos is thankfully on again, with a new release in the works no less, and they will be opening this show along with Black Before Red and Popnoir Soundsystem
