70957 <p>George Clinton is the single most influential figure in the history of funk, and the mastermind behind both Parliament &amp; Funkadelic. The Parliament/Funkadelic machine ruled black music during the '70s, capturing over 40 R&amp;B hit singles and three platinum albums, and in 1997, George Clinton &amp; Parliament/Funkadelic were inducted into the Rock &amp; Roll Hall of Fame.
