5 People & 2 All-Stars Like this Event. I Like It
Basking in the glow of his latest release, We Bet Our Money On You, Daniel Francis Doyle heads up an evening running the gamut of noise projects from around the corner, to the around the panhandle. Dan’s one-man band approach draws a fine line between spastic noise and pop sensibilities. 12a.

The Numerators, from Lubbock, TX, visit the eastside again, with their brand of unabashed lofi, knee jerk punk that has been reported to break down into a high-energy hip-hop runaround from time to time. No strangers to the Austin scene, as they’ve dropped into town before, as well as hosted several ATX bands in their neck of the woods. 11p.

Followed By Static’s debut 7” for Rare Dust Records is reportedly in Indiana right now, slowly weaving its way down to Texas for a mid-June release. The two-track vinyl captures a few sides of the band, brandishing a reverbed out romp (“AADC”), as well as the hook heavy, noise capitulator “Lullaby”. The live show features another few faces, as the duo has added more percussions (tom drums litter the stage now) and a synthesizer to the mix. 10.30p.

Transmography has been making noise waves of their own for a couple or triple years in Austin, throwing all sorts of instruments in the mix. Trading between guitars, drums, keys and other assorted sound makers, there is a lot of action here to warm up the night. 10p.
