Woven Bones, Love Collector, The Cassingles, Kingdom of Suicide Lovers

Woven Bones is an Austin three-piece whose music is a psychedelic-shoegaze-rock and roll concoction filled with rumbling distortion, fuzzy vocal effects and thick reverb that immediately brings to mind The Velvet Underground. Woven Bones also name-drops influences that include Link Wray, The Gun Club, and The Jesus and Mary Chain. They're at Beerland on Thursday night with Connecticut garage rockers The Cassingles and local rockers Love Collector and Kingdom of Suicide Lovers.
